The year is 2011, and Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, debuts in movie theaters across the country. It's based on the 2002 Oakland Athletics and GM Billy Beane, who introduced analytics into the clubhouse. What happened in the film - and what actually happened on the field - couldn't be further apart.
