Look guys, you've run two reruns of older investigations and an interview (split into two episodes) in the last 2.5 months. We were told "a new investigation each Thursday."
Mr. Rech has told us to be patient, as you are a growing platform. While I can sympathize to some degree, I would like to remind you that we are not investors--we are consumers, and the consumers paying your monthly fee are likely the biggest tCAP fans out there. You're pissing off your most loyal subjects!
And before you resort to standard, PR damage-control quotes, remember that you never send out any emails explaining the gaps in content, nor do you post updates on your website. The best I've seen was some copy/paste jobs on some comments from some of the videos (the only comments you're getting these days is about your lack of content).
I love tCAP, and am happy to finance its operation, but there comes a point where people feel like they're being stolen from. If you paid me 20 bucks a week to mow your lawn, but only came over twice in two months and did a half-assed job while I was there, you'd fire me, right? You'd think I was stealing your money, and you'd be correct.
SO, if you're not going to do the weekly predator investigation AS ADVERTISED, then at least have the DECENCY and PROFESSIONALISM that any company with customers should have, and at least let us know WHY. You are doing the bare minimum as of now, and I am running out of excuses to keep letting you charge my card each month.
I'll leave you with one more piece of unsolicited advice:
1. If you don't have new predator investigations in the works, be transparent about it.
2. If your production team is THIS SLOW, then get some people who want to work. If your editor is too busy playing Call of Duty to throw some episodes together, then send me the files along with whatever non-disclosure agreement you need me to sign, and I'LL make these damn episodes for you. I'll even work for scale--I'm fully employed and edit for fun, I don't need your money. I just want some new Takedown episodes.
I am a huge fan, if not one of the biggest, but I am cancelling this week if you continue to operate in radio silence without providing any content.
